Kandi Burruss is embracing her Broadway era following her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and she’s encouraging others to take bold chances.
“Take that leap of faith,” she shared. “For me, it’s been incredible. I’ve always had things happening outside of the show.”
After stepping away from Housewives, the Grammy winner moved seamlessly into producing, serving as a producer on Othello, which went on to break records. “It was amazing,” she said.
Now, Burruss is back on Broadway this time on stage. The reality star and Grammy winner joined the Broadway cast of & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on December 11, 2025, playing the role of Angélique. Her limited engagement runs through March 8, 2026.
“It’s something I wouldn’t have been able to do if I was still there,” she added, reflecting on her Housewives departure.
From producing record-breaking shows to commanding the stage herself, Kandi Burruss is proving that betting on yourself can lead to a standing ovation.
